“I thought you might like to hear about our walleye experience at Little Bolton. I would truly consider it to be a "once in a life-time" experience. My son and I were fishing a weed bed at about 9:00PM. Suddenly the walleye started feeding on top all around us. We were using small spoons in hopes of catching a big northern. However, the walleye started hitting the spoons and for the next 20 minutes straight we caught walleye on nearly every cast. In total, my son and I caught over 80 walleye in 20 minutes. At one point, I caught 12 in a row, and 24 out of 28 casts, and my son had nearly identical action. Another member of our party was in a boat by himself nearby and caught over 20 in about 10 minutes before heading in for the day. At the peak of this feeding frenzy, the walleye were actually jumping out of the water! In my 30 odd years of fishing for walleye's across Canada, I have never before seen this. The walleye averaged 16"-19". What a blast! Three guys, over 100 walleye in only 20 minutes!” Joe Dickerson

Flying to Molson

Molson Lake Lodge is located 300 miles north of Winnipeg. The lake is 30 miles long and 12 miles wide with three species of trophy fish: Northern, Walleye, and Lake Trout. Over 150 square miles of fishing terrain we are THE ONLY LODGE ON THE LAKE!!

On our American Plan& Outpost Camp trips, guests can travel from virtually anywhere in the United States and arrive at Molson via commerical airlines through the Winnipeg International Airport. From Winnipeg, our guests travel on our privately chartered flights provided by Calm Air and Keystone Air Service.

The newest addition to the Calm Air fleet, the ATR42-300 offers increased cargo/baggage capacity, longer range and the comfort level our guests have come to expect... leather seats, extra legroom, and roomy passenger cabin.

For the American Plan guests, once you arrive at Molson you will be shuttle to the lodge for the duration of the trip.

For the Outpost Camp guests, once you arrive you will be shuttle to the main lodge for licenses, orientation, and food package. After orientation you will depart on Molson Air's DeHavilland Beaver for the duration of your trip.

When your stay is over our staff will chauffuer you to our 4500' airstrip where a chartered turbo prop jet will safely take you to your destination. You will reflect on the days that have passed and hopefully return once again to experience the beauty and excitement of Molson Lake Lodge.
